Lumpur is a death metal band from Bandung Indonesia. Formed in 1994 and released few LP and EP. Mostly their songs are influnced by American Brutal and Death Metal bands.
Album that my review was actually release in 2011, this EP entitled is “Skema Pembalasan Sempurna” released via NEW STANDARD ELITE (USA). This is EP containing four songs.
1. Fenomena Dosa Dan Takdir
2. Deklarasi Penuh Luka
3. Skema Pembalasan Sempurna
4. Dengan Setengah Jiwa
Almost all of the songs on this cd has a fast tempo typical American band, sound dark and dense and solid and fast beats. By listening the track “Dengan Setengah Jiwa” you can feel the fast tempo as the habitude of brutal death metal band.
Almost all the tracks from this CD comes with deep and dark growl, intense guitar and drum beat. This purely a brutal death metal songs
Overall all the songs on this cd thick with rhythm tracks on the band Dying Fetus, Sinister, Suffocation, Cannibal Corpse. But Lumpur can keep it on the line and their make it on their own way. They have distinctive characteristics.
On The cover of the CD you can find the lyrics for each song and the band member image. CD cover comes with a great artwork and design.
